Utility Worker

Key Responsibilities:
Performs a range of semi-skilled and labour type tasks on buildings, roads, grounds, and structures; assists trade workers; performs cleaning, snow removal, garbage removal, landscaping, loading and off-loading, general planting, sandblasting, painting, rigging, scaffold erection; carries out minor repairs to the corporation's facilities; operates, services and makes minor adjustments to equipment, i.e. jackhammers, compressors, chainsaws, brushcutters, lawn mowers and cement mixers. May be required to take water readings. May be required to work at heights up to 130m and in confined spaces. all other duties
related to or associated with this classification.
What You’ll Need:
High school education supplemented by training in the building trades. Have a working knowledge of and be able to perform semi-skilled and labour type tasks demonstrated through one year experience in the building trades. Shall have a thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules. Must possess an appropriate valid driver's license.
