Client Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
As a Client Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the business with regards to computing technology. You will work closely in a team environment with other Client Support Analysts, as well as other Information Systems sections to support the customer computing infrastructure. This includes the evaluation, analysis, response and resolution of all end user computing issues, problems and request for service and ensures complete customer satisfaction. You will install the end user desktop computing environment, load software not part of the standard computer image, and ensure all software, hardware and peripheral devices are operating properly.­ You will have a role in the end-to-end Asset Management of all IS hardware assets. This includes recording devices in the asset management system, reporting on the lifecycle of equipment for capital replacement and disposal of equipment at end of life.­ You will be responsible for the corporate video conferencing hardware, processes, configuration, scheduling, and support. You will contact external vendors for various IT solutions regarding support and services.­ You will participate in the development and implementation of procedures for workstations and client computing. Your primary role will be to provide first level customer support.­ This will require troubleshooting technical issues that are reported through phone calls and emails. You will prioritize, assign and escalate requests for service appropriately.

What We’re Looking For:

­
  • Strong technical expertise in end-user computing and IT support.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and escalate service requests effectively.
  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, video conferencing systems, and asset management.
  • Collaborative, with strong communication, initiative and problem-solving abilities.
­
What You’ll Need:
You have a minimum of two-year diploma in Computer Studies, coupled with five years of experience in a customer support environment. Other combinations of post-secondary education and IT experience may be considered. You should have in-depth experience with computer hardware and operating systems as well as applications support.
