IT Project Manager, Solution Delivery Competition #: NLH-RE-26-008 Status: Permanent Location: St. John’s Our employees are at the heart of what we do. Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Solution Delivery, the Project Manager oversees all functional and technical aspects of assigned Information Technology projects, serving as the primary point of contact. The Project Manager is accountable for delivering project scope that meets business requirements within agreed timelines and budget, while ensuring effective management of changes, issues, and risks associated with the project. Key Responsibilities: Taking projects from original concept through to final implementation and transition to operations Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems Manages and takes accountability for project budgets and financial reporting What We’re Looking For: You should have a strong ability to direct and supervise staff; excellent communications skills Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff both internal and external Proven project management experience and the ability to work in a team environment is an asset. What You’ll Need: You have a University degree, or equivalent College Diploma with combined work experience. PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute would be considered an asset. A minimum of ten (10) years work experience in Information Technology project management, including all aspects of the project life cycle. You have a proven track record in managing and supervising staff, excellent communications skills, strong interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff both internal and external, proven project management experience and the ability to work in a team environment.
