NL Hydro, Churchill Falls, is offering an exciting summer employment opportunity for you to join our team. As part of our Summer Student Program, you will be enabled to follow a path of continuous learning and will be given the freedom to take your education further.
­
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program.­ You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
­
This summer student placement opportunity is only open to High School Graduates or High School Equivalency or a current post-secondary student who has successfully completed full-time studies in school year of 2025/2026.­
­
For your application to be considered, you will need to attach the following documents:
•­­­­­­­­­ A detailed resume highlighting your experience and education;
•­­­­­­­­­ A letter/document from your post-secondary institution that confirms you have been accepted into or are returning to full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester, as follows:
­
  • For Level III students - a letter or acceptance for the upcoming fall semester; and
  • For post-secondary students - a copy of ­program registration for the fall semester or an­enrollment verification letter;
  • For continuing post-secondary students - a copy of your marks from the Fall 2025 & Winter 2026 semesters.
­
To ensure a fair selection process, eligible students will be selected through a randomized process and will be randomly assigned their placement(s). Students must be able to work across all areas and may be moved to different areas based on operational requirements.
­
You are responsive to feedback, welcome diversity and enjoy working with a dynamic team.­ Additionally, you are able to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.
