Technologist (Drafter/CADD)
Competition #: NLH-19-077
Location: St. John’s

You will be responsible to carry out all activities related to the preparation of and modifications to engineering design drawings using standard symbol libraries and menu structures in AutoCAD and RasterCAD software. You will receive instruction from engineering design staff on drawing layout and content requirements. You will also be required to perform design support functions in the form of dimensional checks, quantity take-offs and interference checks in all design disciplines. You will develop and modify standard symbol libraries within the AutoCAD suite of applications, as well as all other duties related to or associated with this classification.

You are responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program and responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

You have graduated high school and have successfully completed a three year Architectural Engineering Technology course from a recognized technical institute and either have completed the four year training program established by the Corporation or have four years experience as a technician in the discipline. You shall have a thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules and must possess an appropriate valid driver’s license.
