Executive Assistant

Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary (the CLO), you will be responsible for performing a variety of executive assistant work assignments for the CLO as well as several other members of the Executive Team as assigned. You are also responsible for providing support to the legal group and other members of Hydro’s senior management team as required and as directed by the CLO. This includes administrative, clerical, calendar and email management, document management and receptionist duties, and assisting with Corporate Secretarial work as required. In this role, you will have access to privileged and confidential information and will be required to exercise discretion and a high level of judgment related to this information. You will also have accountability for processing numerous legal invoices for all areas of Hydro in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
­
You’ve graduated from a recognized post-secondary office administration program or equivalent and have five years experience at the senior management level or equivalent with direct responsibility for maintaining confidentiality.­ You’ll be responsible for use of and keeping current with the latest corporate office equipment and technology,­ and current corporate software applications including Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Content Manager, tables, spreadsheets, graphics and other applications as required. You have extensive experience with the use of transcribing equipment coupled with the use of word processing including a high volume of typing, often under tight timeframes.­ Completion of an Office Administration (Executive) or Office Administration (Legal) diploma/certificate from a recognized post secondary institution, as well as experience with preparation of legal and corporate secretarial documentation is an asset.
­
You have good oral and written interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational skills, and can work independently, multitask and prioritize, showing initiative to continually improve computer skills and work environment responsibilities.
