Mandatory Vaccination Policy
On October 15, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador announced the details of the mandatory vaccination policy that applies to public service employees including those in Crown Corporations such as NL Hydro.
Under the new policy, all provincial government employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have an approved medical exemption by December 17, 2021. A person is considered fully vaccinated when two weeks has passed since their second vaccination (or first in the case of one-dose vaccines).
