Power Systems Operator Apprentice Competition #: NE-12-017 Location: Churchill Falls or Bay d’Espoir As a Power System Operator Apprentice, we will prepare you to operate our Hydro Generating Plants in various locations throughout the province. You have graduated high school and have successfully completed a three year Electrical or Electronics Technology Program from a recognized post-secondary institute or you have a Journeyperson Certificate as an Industrial Electrician. This will prepare you to obtain your journeyperson (provincial) as a Power System Operator. You have thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules and possess and maintain an appropriate valid driver’s license. You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for performing work in an environmentally responsible manner. Travel may be required. Please provide a copy of your transcript and certificate from your training institution with your application. CLOSING DATE: November 30, 2012
